Climbing available at Green Spider:
Bouldering
Climbing on walls around 3.5 metres high, without the use of ropes or a harness. We set short ‘problems’ on the bouldering walls, and you have to figure out how to get to the top!
Rope Climbing
With the help of harnesses and belay devices, you’re secure and safe whilst climbing up our 10 metre walls. You will need a partner who knows what they’re doing, who can belay you.
Lead Climbing
This is the next level of climbing once you’ve mastered bouldering and top roping. In order to lead climb, you’ll need to have at least 6 months of climbing experience on ropes, and be climbing at a grade 6a comfortably.
Once you have attended a course, or if you know how to climb already, you’re ready to take your Unsupervised Access Test (UAT).
There are three levels to a UAT, and they all require a different level of skill, depending on what kind of climbing you want to do.

Coached Sessions:
A great way to advance your climbing skills with our fully qualified instructors who will show you and/or up to five other people the ropes and get you scaling the heights in no time! One-to-one or group sessions are available.
