Join us on Wednesday 5th February for Petzl’s Belay Experience Tour! From 4pm, the Petzl team will be on hand to demo equipment, answer questions and run workshops – all for FREE! All you have to do is pay your normal entry to get climbing, and pop over and have a chat. There are limited spaces on the free workshops, so check out the information below and get booked on if you’re interested:
Lead & Top Rope Sessions
If you’ve been thinking about buying a Petzl belay device, but wanted to give one a try first and learn to use it correctly – now’s your chance!
Petzl are running four ‘Lead & Top Rope Sessions’ completely free of charge (on top of standard entry to White Spider) covering a range of topics, including the best belaying practice for all Petzl devices!
Please note that you must be signed off as a competent climber to take part in these sessions.
Petzl Slack Race & More
Throughout the evening, the Petzl team will be available for questions, demonstrations and tips for all customers. They’ll have a range of gear for you to take a look at from quickdraws to harnesses and more. We hear that climbing legend Neil Gresham will also be here to answer questions and demo gear – so get excited for that!
It’s not all about technical kit though – they’ll also be running some fun challenges for those of you who have a competitive streak. It’ll put your co-ordination and belaying skills to the test, and we hear there might even be some prizes!
