At Green Spider, we take Covid safety very seriously. All of our staff members and instructors wear masks and test twice a week. We have a maximum capacity, so the centre is never crowded, and have a rigorous cleaning schedule of high contact surfaces. For more information about what we’re doing to remain Covid-Secure, see our ‘Back to Climbing’ page on our website.

For our Schools’ Day sessions, we have scheduled in a half hour break in between each session to completely disinfect and clean the equipment that’s been used during the session. Please note that all participants over the age of 11 will need to be wearing masks when not climbing unless they have a medical exemption.

If you can’t make it on the 10th June, we can also offer other dates or arrange a regular monthly confidence building day if you’d like your class to return for a series of sessions. Child climbing in Superhero Costume at Green Spider's Schools' Day

“The children really enjoyed the session; with all of them saying only positive things and that they would like to go back again!

It was greatly confidence building, in particular for two of our students: one who got to the top with the support of others shouting them on (this student often feels isolated so it was nice to feel support from peers) and for another who couldn’t get up the wall to start off with, managed over the session to climb to half way and in doing so built huge amounts of confidence!

We would 100% take part again. We felt the session ran smoothly and the instructors were brilliant with the children.

Holmer Academy

Our children loved the session and came away feeling they had achieved something.

Some of our students particularly benefited from the problem solving activity, it took them out of their comfort zone, having to mix with others and talk things through. They were petrified at the thought of doing it with other children but succeeded in completing the task.

We would definitely take part again.

Stretton Sugwas Academy

“All of our children thoroughly enjoyed the sessions, with all of them benefitting in their different ways, some challenging themselves more than others.

We would definitely be interested in attending any sessions in the future.
